2017 news
At just half way through the year both Tayla & I decided it was best we rehome Ragnar, as he hasn’t turned out to the standard we ask of our dogs. With this in mind I knew it wouldn’t be hard to find him his forever home ,& within days I was approached by two of my puppy owners to have him. I decided to place him with his already de-sexed litter sister as the age factor would benefit both. He was shortly after de-sexed and went to live in his new bush surrounds to enjoy his new life.
Our objective now is to try and get Sansa pregnant when she is due to my last remaining Enzo semen and try and start again.

2015 News
This year sees us move hopefully for the final time back onto a one acre property in Pearcedale. It has been a long journey but both myself and the dogs seem a lot happier. I have decided to do a repeat mating of Bronte to Enzo. I was very impressed with the only surviving puppy from the original mating that I have decided to take the risk of a repeat mating, something I don’t normally do.So hopefully she will get pregnant and produce some beautiful happy and healthy puppies.Bronte was inseminated on the 21st of February 2015.Hopefully all goes well and we have some nice puppies.
At the end of March we discovered that Bronte was pregnant so we will wait to see what happens in the future for our girls.
On a brighter note in far North Queensland our youngest ridgeback Kuda will be now known as Supreme Ch Kinshasa Brass Bullets after winning his 11th Best in show. In NZ his brother Butch Ch Kinshasa Kiss My Brass has been holding the flag by winning over there as well.

2014 News

Well 2014 Hasn’t started very well with Bronte’s litter resulting in just one puppy.Although disappointing its part of being a breeder and doing AI. Still we still have lots of things planned for this year with news to follow later into this year
As the year came to a close we certainly did enjoy success with the Kinshasa prefix finishing no1 again in the ridgeback scene in Australia.

Bondi finished No1 ridgeback on the DOL point score and was officalliy retired from the show scene @ the New Years eve show winning R/up BIG .
Sansa continues to getting closer to her Grand champion title and took a very nice R.up BIG at a large all breeds show at Lancefield under a NZ judge.
Butch is now known as Ch Kinshasa Kiss my brass after attaining his title earlier in the year and is maturing into a handsome loving dog.
In the Far North Qld our representative there Kuda Ch Kinshasa brass bullets finished off the year by winning 8 Best in shows at all breed levels and taking a nice 25 point Best of breed while holidaying in Sydney during the Xmas break,Kuda is very close to his Grand and Supreme title at just 2 years of age this dog is going from strength to strength,Kuda finished No1 ridgeback in Australia unofficially as he wasn’t entered on any point score system.
Well done to all those who own or are owned by a Kinshasa ridgeback

Recently we went to Europe so Lynne Harwood my partner (All Breeds Judge) could judge the Swedish Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty at Arsta Slott near Stockholm. Lynne awarded BIS to Int Ch Elengani Braveheartrules. We met wonderful Ridgeback owners there and saw some fabulous dogs. From Sweden we went on to the World Dog Show in Paris. We both enjoyed watching the breed there and again saw some quality Ridgebacks.
In May 2008 Lynne also judged the Danish Specialty Show awarding BIS to Int Ch Tusani Cool Bakari. We had a great time in Varde in Denmark and remain friends with many people we met there.
Lynne has recently judged Ridgebacks in Ireland giving the breed to the bitch CC winner Ch & Int Ch Rottzridge Walk the Walk.
